Helene Jones, GM, Exova Dudley
Testing expert Helene Jones has been named general manager of one of the country’s leading corrosion testing facilities, operated by global group Exova.
Helene joins Exova to lead the group’s two Dudley facilities – including the mechanical testing laboratory, and the new £3m Exova Corrosion Centre currently in development – from a role within Eurofins Environmental Testing.
With more than 20 years’ experience in the chemistry and testing sectors, Helene has helped organisations deliver more than £130m of new business, establish new start-up laboratories and introduce new testing capabilities.
At Eurofins, Helene led a key water testing lab, delivering services to major utility companies and commercial customers. Prior to this Helene held a number of key technical, operational and commercial roles within LGC Forensics, a provider of specialist analytical, technical and scientific services.
Exova Dudley is one of the world’s leading authorities in the testing of pipeline materials for the oil and gas industry, offering a range of specialist services from mechanical testing to a full range of corrosion testing and advisory services.

Helene is the latest senior recruit to join Exova’s UK business, after Liz Fleming was appointed as general manager of the group’s Grimsby food testing laboratory.
