The world’s largest dedicated testing company, Exova, has strengthened its food and consumer products division with the appointment of two experienced executives.
Matthew Edmonds has been appointed as consumer products team leader, taking up his role internally after working as a trading law advisor.
He also has previous experience of working for the trading standards service at Dorset County Council, Bournemouth local authority and Leicestershire County Council.
His new role means he will be overseeing the consumer products team and providing advice to a number of customers.
He is joined in the team by Lynne Butler, who formerly worked for Lincolnshire County Council’s trading standards in a senior business support role. Lynne’s position will be as trading law adviser in compliance, certification and regulation.
Ravinder Dhaliwal, general manager, Exova consumer products team, said: “Matthew and Lynne bring valuable experience which will help further enhance the support we can provide to our customers in the important area of trading law.”
Exova’s food and consumer products division works in trusted partnership with raw materials suppliers, manufacturers and retailers in the food industry to ensure their products are legal and market compliant through all stages of the product life cycle and beyond.
