New head for Exova Warringtonfire European division

Exova Warringtonfire the fire safety technology division of the world’s largest independent testing group has appointed a new director with responsibility for its European business.

Rob Veitch joins the division from a senior management role with industrial equipment provider Monks & Crane, part of the Wurth Group. In this role, Rob was responsible for a team of 170 and achieved record operating results.

As European sector director for Exova Warringtonfire, Rob will have responsibility for a team of 200 engineers and scientists as well as operational and commercial performance across seven specialist testing laboratories.

Exova Warringtonfire is a global provider of fire and security testing, certification and fire engineering services in sectors including aerospace, construction, marine and rail.

Rob’s previous positions have included a number of roles with leading supplier to the construction industry Hilti GB Ltd including sales director.

Rob, 46, who lives in south Manchester, said: “Exova’s reputation and capability in testing and advisory services is second to none, and I am looking forward to building on the success of this established brand and delivering support to our customers throughout Europe”.
