Exova, the worldwide testing and advisory company has gained level one membership to the Legionella Control Association (LCA) and to further improve its national coverage, the company has also increased its water sample drop off points from four to 12 to now include Ipswich, Bridgend, Nottingham, Leeds and Glasgow.
Membership of LCA means that Exova’s water testing facilities at Birmingham, Camberley and Grimsby can now be offered to Water Treatment Consultants who are also members of LCA. Consultants can drop off water samples for testing at any of the 12 secure points from where the water will be delivered to the local Exova laboratory for testing, saving valuable time for busy Facilities Managers and Water Consultants.
Nick Barsby, Business Development Executive of Water at Exova said: “LCA guidelines state that all members must use an LCA accredited laboratory so membership, along with our UKAS 17025 accreditation gives customers reassurance that they are using a water testing laboratory that adheres to the highest codes of practice. As we roll out our national collection service, LCA accreditation is a must and we are delighted that all our UK sites now have level one accreditation.”
