Representatives from the Oil and Gas industry will have the chance to tour one of the largest independent testing facilities in the UK in February as a refurbished Exova Teesside opens its doors.
Exova, one of the globe’s leading Oil and Gas testing organisations, will be hosting the technical seminar from its North East laboratory offering attendees a full laboratory tour as well as three technical presentations.
The seminar will take place on February 23 and registrations can be made through the Exova website.
The Teesside laboratory is a centre of excellence for materials testing, metallurgical testing and analytical services and regularly analyses materials for the Power Generation and Chemical industries, in addition to Oil and Gas.
Chris Fowler, Iltaf Hussain and Paul Chambers, Exova’s experts in corrosion, failure investigation and welding respectively will be presenting on the latest testing techniques from Exova.
It is the first time the doors will be officially opened to the Teesside laboratory after it recently went through a £60,000 refurbishment.
The facility has expanded to help service the increased demand from Exova’s clients, particularly in metallurgy testing, where investment in testing equipment have been made.
