Business Development Manager-Civil

Qualification & Skills

Degree/Diploma in Engineering
Minimum 5-8 years work experience in laboratory environment in similar role.
Full of drive & commitment and confidence
Detailed knowledge of testing market for Construction and/or Chemistry in Saudi
Champion of customer care
Driven by results
Exposure to commercial activities
Excellent English both written and spoken
Saudi Driving Licence

Job role

To procure testing contracts primarily by visits to potential clients premises/sites in Saudi
Identify contract opportunities
Assistance in proposal formulation
Develop relationships with new potential clients
Cold calling and cold visits to potential clients
Assessments of quotations levels, success rates and to identify and improve.
Dealing with Procurement personnel, QA Managers, Production Managers, Inspectors, Department Heads in developers, consultants, contractors and producers
Tracking of market rates and competitor services
Support Business Development efforts in other disciplines

The BDM will be responsible for new account acquisitions and maintaining high standards of customer service thereby strengthening the brand image of the company.
