The requirements analysis is based on 3 different approaches:

• Technical Aspects - The analysis of methods, instrumentation and environment
• Accessibility -The analysis of the frequency and location in which the measurements are conducted
• Quality – The demands on the organisation, operator, documentation of methods and measurement results
  The results of the analysis will provide you with suggestions regarding the number of instruments, focussing your workload to achieve the correct quality and achieving the lowest costs for your measurements.
