Artificial weathering testing is a class of tests designed to determine the long term stability of a material when exposed to the sun by accelerating the process using high intensity lighting in an enclosed controlled environment. We use this method at Exova within the power generation sector in coatings testing services.  The types of instruments we use to perform this testing include: Xenon Weatherometers, Carbon Arc Weatherometers, Fade-o-Meters, Radiant Panel, Sun Lamps.
