Trace Organic Analysis

Trace organic compound levels in pharmaceuticals and consumer products can alter a product’s efficacy and toxicity.

There are also regulatory limits for many common organic compounds. To ensure compliance one can either follow established methods as prescribed in the USP or EP or develop and validate methods for specific compounds in specific materials. Instrumentation such as GCMS, GC, LCMS, LC, FTIR and others are used for this testing.
