The Santa Fe Springs Exova lab (formerly known as West Coast Analytical Service, or WCAS) was opened in 1984 as an independent testing laboratory. We specialize in trace chemical analyses using ICPMS, ICPOES, GC, LC, IC, GCMS, LC-MS/MS, FTIR, NMR, XRF, and many others. In 2006 the laboratory was sold to Bodycote Testing Group and in 2008 the testing group was sold again and became Exova. While we are still an independent testing lab, we are now part of a group of over 130 labs world wid e with expertise in many areas.

Most of our work is performed for the pharmaceutical and supplement industries; however, we offer a full range of analytical chemistry services which can be applied in various disciplines. In addition, we work with a variety of research organizations on exposure studies, risk assessment, diet studies, essentiality of nutrients, drug development, method development and validation, and trace impurities. We also provide support to the environmental, industrial hygiene, semiconductor/electronics, polymer, and manufacturing industries.

We have a strict ISO/IEC 17025 compliant Quality Assurance program, and our work is compliant with GMP and GLP regulations, when applicable. In addition we are certified by a number of agencies and associations, and we participate in round-robin, performance evaluation and proficiency studies.
