Exova has over 30 years experience in the testing of umbilical, subsea components and structures under cyclic and static loading and under a variety of environments. A wide range of testing equipment is available with a capacity of up to 2MN and test rigs can be readily produced to meet particular customer requirements.
For umbilical testing - special jigs are designed and constructed. Testing can be conducted under the control parameters such as load (of individual elements), strain, displacement, temperature and pressure.
Exova can offer, through its own in-house expertise, the test specified in ISO 13628-5 (API Specification 17E).
