Exova’s Calgary facility specializes in the testing of environmental organic and inorganic chemistry as well as microbiology and food testing. We also have a core viewing facility at this location that services our clients in the oil sands and heavy oil industry. Our highly competent technical staff know the importance of providing accurate analytical results which are on time with the data presented in a clear concise format. - Environmental organic and inorganic chemistry primarily in waters, soils and tissues. - Chemical Analysis - Microbiological Analysis - Analytical testing services for Drilling Waste, Microtox, Remediation, Reclamation (Mining or Oil & Gas), Contaminated Sites and (BCCSR), Coalbed Methane, Drinking/Potable Water, Waste Water, Ground Water, Upstream and Downstream Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbon Impacted Sites, Aquatic Protection and Spill Response. Chemical Services: Calgary 37th Ave lab is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art equipment including numerous GC/MS, GC/FID, GC/ECD and LC/MS. With a wide range of sample preparation techniques, Calgary Environmental Division is capable of meeting requirements for organic analyses in various matrices. These organic analyses include petroleum hydrocarbons, polyaromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs), pesticides, glycols and amines, volitile and semi-volitile organic carbons, trihalomethanes, etc. Capacity at this location is being expanded to include the benchmark CCME Canadian Wide Standard (CWS) of Petroleum Hydrocarbon (PHC) method as well as an Alberta approved alternate CCME CWS PHC method based on cold shake. This method is faster, uses less solvent (more environmental friendly) and costs less than the benchmark method. This facility is open seven days a week (excluding holidays) to meet client requirements. An On-Call Service is available for after hours emergencies (charges may apply). |
