Exova offers solar testing and rating of green energy technologies under controlled sunlight, temperature, humidity and wind conditions.

 

The National Solar Test Facility (NSTF) at Exova is one of North America’s leading centres for testing and rating green energy technologies.

Exova can use ULC/UL to certify photovoltaic equipment and is also accredited for SRCC and FSEC solar thermal certification programs. Solar testing services are provided according to standards from ASHRAE, CSA, FSEC, IEC, ISO, SRCC and ULC/UL.

• Measurement and computer analysis of fenestration system heat transfer to CSA A440.2 standard
• Fenestration U-Factor and Solar Heat Gain Coefficient measurements
• Guarded colorimeter for fenestration heat-transfer measurements
• Indoor and Outdoor solar testing of materials and components, such as electronic instruments and enclosures, telecommunication devices, building materials, solar energy equipment and full-size automobiles
