Spray-Applied Rigid Cellular Polyurethane Thermal Insulation

This standard provides the requirements and test methods for spray-applied rigid polyurethane cellular plastics, medium density, used as a thermal insulation for both building and non-building applications, whether applied on a building site or in a prefabrication (manufacturing) facility. The material is also known as foamed in-situ insulation.

Testing includes:

  • Air permiance
  • Apparent Core Density
  • Compressive strength
  • Dimensional Stability
  • Surface Burning Characteristics
  • Open Cell Content
  • LTTR’s (thermal Resistance)
  • Tensile Strength
  • Volatile Organic (we do not offer)
  • Water absorption
  • Water vapor permeance
