Exova has a 13,000 sq. ft. Test Laboratory in Saltillo, Mexico to serve the needs of light-duty engine manufacturers in the area. Located 90 km southwest of Monterrey, the neighbouring cities of Ramos Arizpe and Saltillo are considered the center of the automotive industry in Mexico. Currently, the facility is scheduled to conduct engine audit tests utilizing a local workforce. The test equipment has been designed, built and commissioned by Exova personnel. Based on market demand, other capabilities such as material testing can also be made available at the facility. Exova draws on its extensive experience to deliver state-of-the-art test services. The new laboratory will permit local and national Mexican industries to access Exova’s world-wide test capabilities.
