Scales, corrosion products and organic deposits frequently are encountered in different stages of oil and gas production systems. The accumulation of these deposits very often causes serious blockages in pipes, pumps and filters. To identify the sources of these deposits and to prevent their reoccurrence, it is essential to identify their composition. The lab utilizes state of the art analytical techniques to identify the composition of both the organic and the inorganic fractions of the deposits.
