| Waste Classification On July 2005 the requirements of the Landfill Regulations came into force throughout the United Kingdom, further implementing the European landfill directive. The new Regulations provide waste acceptance criteria (WAC), waste acceptance procedures (WAP) and test methods to be used by landfill operators to decide whether they can accept a particular waste into their landfill.
