Dr Roger Digby joined Exova from Airbus where he was Head of Materials and Processes Integration for aircraft programmes. In this role, Roger was responsible for defining and delivering materials and processes solutions for the A350XWB family of aircraft. He also ensured materials and processes support to the continuing development needs of all other aircraft programmes, including the A380, A320, A330/340, A400M and future aircraft projects.

Roger has overall responsibility for the definition and development of technical resources to enable implementation of best practice across the business, reinforcing the technical foundations of the business to support organic growth strategies and ensuring the company is regarded as being at the forefront of technical capability and reputation in the industry. Roger has a BEng (Hons) degree in Materials Science and Engineering, a PhD in Materials Science and a post-graduate diploma in Business Administration (DBA). He is a Fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering (FREng), a Fellow of the Institute of Materials, Minerals and Mining (FIMMM), and a Chartered Engineer (CEng).
