Jim McHugh
Group HR Director

Jim joined Exova in May 2010 as Group HR Director and is the main thought leader and architect of Exova’s HR Roadmap and is responsible for maximizing our people strategy as we embark on a journey of significant growth over the coming years. Jim has spent over twenty years in a broad range of HR roles in the electronics industry and prior to Exova was Human Resource Director (Europe, Middle East and Africa) at Freescale Semiconductor Ltd. He worked with Motorola Inc for 13 years in both UK and global HR roles and was based in the US for 5 years . Jim has significant experience of organisation change and development and has had significant leadership experience of both regional and global teams.

Jim has an MA(Hons) degree from the University of Glasgow in Psychology, a MSc degree in Human Resource Management from University of Strathclyde Business School and is a Chartered Fellow of The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD).
