Exova personnel can provide assistance in the initial stages and advise on aspects such as: selection of materials and welding consumables, selection of the welding process, welded joint design, distortion control, welding procedure and welder approval qualifications.
Industries utilizing this service include Fabrication, Construction, Automotive, Power Generation and Transportation. Inspections can be performed at the laboratory facility or on-site. These inspections are performed to a variety of national and international welding codes, standards and directives for example ASME (American Society for Mechanical Engineers) 31.1 and 31.3 and many others. Our highly qualified and experienced Certified Welding Inspector’s (CWI’s) inspections consist of visual examinations of the weld and weld measurement per specific blue prints or client requirements.
