Testing of materials and components for Defence
Exova tests materials and components used within the Defence (Military) market. This is of critical importance both in terms of fulfilling their respective optimal performance criteria and protecting the safety of personnel in demanding, exacting and often harsh environments.
Exova has the testing facilities, knowledge and expertise to address these challenges in the Defence market. We have experience in testing materials / components associated with aircraft (engines, landing gear), vehicles – including tanks, ballistics / ammunition, textiles, electronic ‘black boxes’ and composites (NDT, repair and maintenance) and much more.
Much of this type of work is related to Research and Development projects such as testing new composites materials (composition / blending of) for Airframe component manufacturers.
Exova is involved in testing in a wide array of projects for the Defence Market at a national and international level and with suppliers in the Defence supply chain.
